The door was opened with the super heroes, and next it was my niece’s turn. She requested a unicorn and this is what we came up with.

My nephew put in a special illustration request for a drawing of his favourite super heroes. Here’s what happened next on that week’s livestream…

One more bookmark before Easter. This was the first bookmark that I completed. It was fully inspired by the jungle I accumulated over the pandemic. I had so many plants around to inspire me, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see another house plant bookmark in the future.
This was fully developed in Adobe Fresco, just using my own plants for reference.
I am very excited to get started with all of these bookmarks and make them my own as I use them while reading. All of these bookmarks are available in my online shop right now, so please come over to check it out!

Just in time for Easter, we have the Daisy gnome. This guy gave me a few challenges, but we were able to make through. Every project can’t be easy. I learned a lot while working with this one.
Following the same process as his friends, I started with watercolour and then brought it into Adobe Fresco for the final details. What started off as a “groovy gnome”, ended up as an Easter bunny carrying a daisy. What else did you expect?

This bookmark is a great addition to any Easter basket this year. The “colour-your-own” bookmarks are a great way to add some creativity around your reading time. Use as-is or make it your own.
This design was inspired by some AI outputs from Adobe Firefly, but fully developed by me using only Adobe Fresco and Fresco brushes. The final line art is created using vector lines so that the colouring space is nice and clean for your use.

This guy was created like his buddies. I started with a traditional watercolour base to get that hand drawn feel, and all those delicious textures that the water and paper combo gives. Then I moved onto the iPad into Adobe Fresco and updated the colours and did some of the final touches digitally. I chose to do this part digitally just to reduce the “risk” of doing it all by hand. Once the market prep dies down I do hope to do some full traditional gnomes too.
Another gnome in the shop today! Full rain coat for a rainy start to the weekend. Hey bud, can I borrow your umbrella?
This gnome is available in prints and on cards in my shop today!

When I came up with the idea for “Colour Your Own” bookmarks, I got so many ideas. One I am super excited about is a reading tracker. This bookmark is a great way to keep track of what you have read so far, and it’s always on hand! I can’t wait to share these with you.
The final product was mainly created in Adobe Fresco, and finalized in Illustrator. The finished bookmark will also come with a beaded tassel for add flair.

Good morning everyone! Just dropping in real quick to introduce the Valentine’s Day gnome. I had to sneak this one in the Easter update, I couldn’t resist.
I created this gnome with a base of watercolour on watercolour paper. I then brought that art into Adobe Fresco where I cleaned up the lines, colours and added a few final touches to bring this beauty to life. I love how the colours came together.
This gnome is available now in prints and cards on my website.
I had the idea last year for a “colour your own” bookmark, and the ideas just flooded the studio. This is the first in the series, and the first of four currently available on my site right now. I have designed these in a way that makes room for you to customize your own, or to use “as is” for a beautiful bookmark. I was inspired to do this design based off of feedback from my lovely followers. I love how beautiful sunflowers can be, and I always want to incorporate them into my designs.
Keep an eye out for the other bookmarks that will be coming out shortly.

I’ve been a little quiet here lately because I have been getting my Easter shop ready. The shop went live successfully on Friday!
One of the main characters you’ll see on the site is our Snowy Day gnome. While things aren’t very snowy around here, this is a quick last peek at the wintery days.
The Snowy Day gnome is available in 5X7″ and 8X10″ prints. Also on a blank card that you can use to send a note to a friend. Check everything out here.
