In my area of the world we have all been under a Stay-at-Home order. I’ve continued to use this time, when I am up for it, to be as creatively productive as I am able. The New Year always gets me excited about possibilities for the upcoming months, so I have been scattered all over trying to fit a little bit of everything in.
Knitting
Socks! I am obsessed with socks lately. I saw lots of people with the 52 Weeks of Socks book and was inspired by the commitment to that effort. Although I am not going to push for a new pair every week, I am going to try to work through my sock list this year. I have set a little goal for myself to see how many pairs I can knit while balancing everything else.

I did purchase the actual book this week because I kept coming back to it. I loved so many patterns in that collection that I knew I would save myself a lot of pattern purchases by buying the book itself. This book is gorgeous! It’s a lovely book to look through and have around even if I never knit any of the socks.
The Studio
I have set so many goals for myself this year when it comes to my art studio. I have been trying to draw a little bit everyday. I am not quite succeeding there yet, but I have a lot of ideas down that will help me with that next month.
The bigger project that I have been working on is my first project for my Behance account. I have set the goal of doing one larger project each month so I can post it to this Adobe account and so I can start improving some of my digital art skills.
My goal was to post about that project today, but she’s not quite there yet. I am going to give myself the rest of the month to make sure she is just right. More to come next week there.
Other
Here is a list of a few things that I have been enjoying this month in between knitting stitches and sketching masterpieces. Some fun ideas in case you’re in need of some inspiration.

- WandaVision on Disney+ – I don’t really know what I am watching but I want more
- YOUNGER on Prime (you can never go wrong with a sister recommend)
- Ready Player Two. Read it in two days (because I enjoyed it, and because I had a library deadline)
